Dave Wexler, a Pikesville, Maryland native, is the Principal of Still Creek Insurance. Based in Gaithersburg, Maryland Still Creek Insurance is a people-first business operating on an elevated moral plane—founded upon the most basic and caring ingredients of honesty, service, and pricing.

Jumping head-first into the trades of mortgage, real estate, and business development was a natural first step for Dave after graduation from the University of Maryland. His path started over 16 years ago as a loan officer, but quickly began stretching into management roles and leading mortgage professionals from a position of expertise for Elite Funding Corporation.
In 2001, Dave became the Senior Vice President of Erie Financial Group (aka, Community Bank of Pennsylvania) where his strategic level management style evolved. His big picture vision and mechanical know-how led to becoming a Partner at Choice Finance in 2005, and together with his partners created Choice Real Estate in 2007. At Choice, he branched out to develop new business models to form innovative inter-organizational relationships and recruit brokers for shared programs. This work grew into an evolving role with Choice Financial Corporation where Dave also took on a Principal role until 2010.

Following, Skye Associates brought Dave in as the Director of Business Development in order to gain new perspectives on the company’s financial architecture, e-commerce opportunities, and vertical business development. Currently, Dave Wexler and the depth of Still Creek Insurance partnerships provide some of the most competitive and customized insurance solutions for home, auto, and commercial interests, as well as, other types of property and casualty insurance. At this, Dave’s background and simple recipe for business success has yet to fail him to the delight of his customers and associates.

Scott Rubin

Scott Rubin, a Rockville, Maryland Native is a Senior Agent with Still Creek Insurance. He currently lives in Bethesda, MD with his wife and children.

After graduating college from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, Scott moved back home and began working in the family automobile leasing company. Working at a independent leasing company meant he had to wear many hats. From washing cars, managing the mechanic shop, creating a daily rental business and selling used cars he found his passion. That passion is selling and helping people. After 8 years in the family business Scott wanted more freedom to spend with his family so he made a move into the mortgage industry.

Scott spent over 13 years in the mortgage industry working in several different capacities. He started as a loan officer, and moved into the lending side of the business, helping management balance their warehouse and maintain the lending relationships.

After working in the automobile and mortgage business it was a natural fit to get into the insurance industry. Scott is still able to work directly with clients and help them with their home and auto insurance needs. His focus on the details and customer service has not changed. Still Creek Insurance’s success is based on the customer service they provide directly to their clients as well as their referral partners. It is the relationship aspect of Insurance that Scott truly appreciates. Providing coverage for someone’s first car to their first house, to a life insurance policy upon the birth of their first child, Scott truly believes it is an honor to service his client base.

Scott enjoys Golf, sightseeing, weekend getaways with his family and is a huge local sports fan. Go Caps!

He has 6 years in the insurance and financial industry, selling life, personal, and commercial insurance –as well as other financial services and products. Salvador enjoys the personal relationships he has built in his insurance career. He is never too busy to come to your office or job site to review your insurance needs. With a keen eye for detail, his career of more than 25 years in multiple industries gives Salvador firsthand experience risk assessment, mitigation, and control.
